As part of our work as a Lead Associate School in partnership with the @RSC Royal Shakespeare Company, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to offer students in Years 11-13.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has offered OSA 8 FREE places for students to take part in a residential ‘Talent Development Programme’ in Stratford-upon-Avon on 12-13 December 2019. This is aimed at students who have an interest in and aptitude for backstage roles within a theatre setting.

In terms of job roles, they are looking for students who might have an interest in, and the potential to fulfill, one or more of the following roles:

Costume / Front of House / Marketing / Lighting Technician / Props / Scenic Artist / Stage Manager / Sound / Video Technician

Further details about each of the job roles can be accessed via the individual links above

The RSC will fund ALL costs related to this opportunity – including travel, meals and accommodation.

Anyone interested should see Miss Turner (Assistant Principal) as soon as possible so that she can answer any questions and explain the application process.
