NHS Portal (for registering consent for COVID vaccinations) closes at 12noon

Posted on: 21st September 2021

We appreciate that, prior to giving consent, parents/carers may wish to take advantage of accessing all possible information regarding this and we are pleased to be able to share the following with you; please remember, however, that the Academy is purely a ‘vehicle’ to allow the NHS and Government Advisers to reach the young people intended – we are not responsible for any element of the programme and are unable to respond to any queries relating to it (information is given, in the NHS letter, regarding sources of additional information and advising of where/to whom any parental queries should be raised.)

INITIAL letter shared with parents (prior to us receiving any specific date/information from the NHS/Government – see here

Link to Government website for information relating to intended programme to roll out vaccinations to children aged 12-15 – see here

Letter with ‘general’ information on the Academy’s role in the Government’s rollout of vaccinations to eligible students – see here

NHS letter to parents, seeking parental consent – see here

OSA covering email to parents (when sending out NHS letter) – see here

THE NHS ONLINE REGISTRATION/CONSENT PORTAL (HERE) WILL CLOSE AT MIDDAY ON THURSDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER

When providing consent for your child, you will need to visit the portal and use the Unique School Identifier number, allocated to us by the NHS, of EE138506

FOLLOW-UP NHS MESSAGE FOR PARENTS

We have currently not been made aware of any plans for ‘catchup’ vaccination sessions (for students who haven’t reached the age of 12 by 24th September) so are unable to provide any assistance for parents/carers who may be keen to access such a facility when their year 7 child reaches the age of 12.  (If/When such information becomes available, we will clearly share it with those families affected by it.)
