Admissions into Year 7 for September 2019

Applications to Year 7 for September 2019 as the first year of entry to secondary school need to be made via the County Council. This can be done online here or by printing and completing a CAF1 paper application form and sending it directly to Suffolk County Council. Information on how to apply can be found on the Suffolk County Council website, here.
The national closing date for these applications was Wednesday 31 October 2018.
Decisions on allocation of places will be published, by Suffolk County Council, on National Offer Day – Friday 1 March 2019. If your application was made online then you will receive an email with the decision; if your application was sent by post then you will receive a letter a day or two after this date.
Ormiston Sudbury Academy will also acknowledge all successful applications to the Academy by letter soon after National Offer Day, welcoming you to our community and giving further information as to future events such as primary school visits and our ‘New Parents’ Evening’ on Thursday 13th June 2019).

From September 2019 the transport catchment areas for the Academy will change to ‘the nearest school’. The Suffolk County Council website www.suffolkonboard.com has all the relevant details and whether transport will be free. Parents will be responsible for liaising with Suffolk County Council on transport to the Academy.
