We believe that the next two years here in the Sixth Form will be amongst the most important in your life. You will be studying the subjects you are passionate about, making important decisions about your future, and we hope, going from strength to strength on an academic and social level.
We have a commitment to supporting you on this important journey and believe the best local Sixth Form Education is at Ormiston Sudbury Academy.
Our wide range of courses offer something to suit everyone and the results to match. We offer more than 20 subjects at AS and A2, plus a number of enrichment opportunities to enhance your CV and broaden your perspective. These include work experience, volunteering, Gold Arts Award and numerous sporting opportunities.
For students joining us from Sudbury this is your local Sixth Form. It is best placed to provide you with all the extra help and support to make that transition to Higher Education or the workplace.
Keeping travel times to a minimum is a clear benefit. Teachers will quickly get to know you well and will go that extra mile to help you overcome any hurdles. Relationships between staff and students are excellent.
You will need to develop your ability to work independently, to manage an increasingly diverse social life and juggle and effectively prioritise the demands of study, work and leisure. You will have to make serious life shaping decisions – whether this is based on the courses you want to take, which will determine your career options, or universities you wish to attend.
