General Election “Question Time”

Candidates standing for election for the South Suffolk Constituency on 8 June will appear on the on the Ormiston Sudbury Academy stage on Tuesday evening (23rd May 2017 at 7pm) to speak about the policies of their respective parties, and to debate questions put to them by members of the audience.

James Cartlidge (Conservative), Emma Bishton (Labour), Nigel Bennett (Liberal Democrat), Robert Lindsay (Green) and Aidan Powlesland (UKIP T.B.C.) will all appear, to persuade the audience to vote for them at the elections on 8 June.

Members of the public are invited to reserve their seats by emailing Mrs Warren, the Principal’s PA, at the Academy, or by ringing on 01787 375131 (option 2). If you wish to submit a question, please email Mrs Warren in advance of the event or drop the question in at the Academy Reception. Spaces are strictly limited, so please reserve yours early!

Students will be selecting questions from those sent in advance, as well as preparing their own to put to the candidates.
