A member of the School Nursing Team makes regular visits to the Academy, with students being able to ‘drop in’, without an appointment, for a confidential chat over anything that may be bothering them about their physical or mental health e.g. diabetes management, weight problems, eating disorders, periods, anger management, sexuality or gender worries, lumps, bumps and bruises to name but a few of the things that have previously been raised, by students. Watch out for the noticeboard outside the Reflection Room – or speak to a Pastoral Manager to find out when the nurse is next in the Academy.
