COVID PRECAUTIONS – EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PARENTS/CARERS (AND STUDENTS)

Posted on: 5th November 2020

With reference to Mrs Wilson’s letters on 7th September (https://bit.ly/32gCiqi) and again this week (https://bit.ly/365DLAH), we require students to wear masks in corridors and at social time unless they are seated and eating, or are outside, and at all times remaining in their designated social areas.

Students are also expected to socially distance where possible, walking on the left in corridors and keeping their distance. If these requests are breached this will be logged as a “Covid risk” on our SIMS records (which you will then see on the SIMS Parent App) and the student may need to be collected by you immediately or they be sent home due to unsafe behaviour.

With National Lockdown in place from Thursday 5th November and the clear heightened risk of spreading the virus, we need to be confident that everyone in the building is adhering to expectations to keep all members of the community safe and to keep the Academy open, we will therefore treat any breaches seriously.
